We had a really nice lunch here today with great service upstairs in the veranda dining area. A full menu upstairs if you want more than burgers or pizza down stairs. Well presented and quick after ordering from the table, not at the counter. A full service restaurant. So pleasant to see.

Haven't been to the BB in a long while so it was a bit of a shock to get there and see it so full you couldn't get a table without a booking but the manager on shift, Jo, said if we waited something would come up. This lady was literally amazing - one of my biggest compliments about the place would be that all the staff were absolutely awesome; polite, quick, really friendly, and attentive but the shining star of the evening was Jo. She was on top of everything despite the noise, the sheer volume of customers and the non-stop service, she remained so friendly and professional throughout the night, made great suggestions, and worked hard to get us fit in. The food was reallly delicious; I had the mango bruschetta (YUM!) and the August lamb rack special - pricey but truly scrumptious! Hats off to the chef who sent the dish out a bit pink for my personal tastes, but Jo noticed and took it in for an extra bit of burning, and s/he sent it back out beautifully cooked and still gorgeously presented. I should have taken a picture but I too busy stuffing my face! 😀 😍 The only reason for the missing star is the lack of a bit of music upstairs in the restaurant - might not be to everyone's taste but I like that in a pub environment so I missed it a bit. All in all, the new owners/managers have worked like devils to bring a new vibe and a new face to what used to be a iconic restaurant so they had big shoes to fill. Well done, and thank you for a wonderful evening! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Got the party vibes but no ride? No worries! Just give us a bell, and we’ll have our Banana Bus swing by to whisk you away to the ultimate shindig. Our courtesy bus is on the road every Friday and Saturday to get you to and from the Banana Bender Pub safely!

**The courtesy bus only operates two days a week on weekends**
